Document processing
Document text, page images, OCR results, glossaries and translation memory are processed by the Beaver Doc desktop application on your computer. They are not sent to Beaver Doc servers for translation.
Downloading an AI model is a separate, user-initiated network action. The downloaded model runs locally afterward.
Early access email
When you join the private beta list, we store your email address, subscription status, signup time and a random confirmation or unsubscribe token. We use this information only to send beta invitations and meaningful product updates.
Cloudflare provides the site, bot verification and database infrastructure. When email delivery is enabled, Resend receives the address needed to deliver the message.
Commercial activation
A commercial activation request contains the license key, a machine identifier produced by the application and the application version. It does not contain document content. This information is used to enforce the activation allowance and issue an offline-verifiable credential.
Retention and control
Every product email includes an unsubscribe link that removes the subscriber record. You can also request access or deletion by emailing [email protected].
